Promoting the Economic Development through European and Caribbean Partnership – PED

PED is a project founded through the PROINVEST Programme aimed at strengthening the capacities of Caribbean IOs in the field of internationalisation of SMEs, investment attraction and international networking. In order to reach such objective a huge European – Caribbean partnership has been set up in representation of Italy, Spain, Greece, Germany, Dominican Republic, Barbados and Belize. The project strategy is focused on best practices exchange and technical assistance interventions. In order to guarantee a bigger impact the project provides also to the creation of a network opens to IOs of ACP and European countries for sharing the results of the project as well as for the identification of new project ideas in ACP countries.

The project provides for the following activities:

• international meetings for best practices exchange
• technical assistance to intermediary organisations in Dominican Republic, Belize and Barbados
• training courses for intermediary organisations staff
• B2B for enterprises
• international partnership meetings for the members of the network
• realisation of informative materials on business opportunities in Dominican Republic, Belize and Barbados
• on line free materials

Training courses for Caribbean Intermediary Organisations staff

Are open the subscriptions to the training courses organised under the project.
